LexiWynn Custom Handbags

LexiWynn's founder Alexa Holzwarth, learned to sew and appreciate fabrics at a very early age, growing up around her parents' successful custom window treatment business in Virgina. With a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity, Alexa started her business in 2005 by making custom window treatments, pillows, and slipcovers out of her home in Libertyville, Illinois. In April of 2006, she designed her first purse – the aptly named Lexi Hobo – quickly realizing that she could successfully create fun and functional bags using fabrics that she loved. As her purses gained popularity, Alexa developed a business and a small team of talented workers that would allow her to stay home with her small children but also serve as an outlet for her creativity, knack for design, and empowering others to get involved in the creative process.

Three and a half years later Seth, Alexa's husband decides to join the fun. 2010 provided the needed cataylyst for Seth and Alexa to take LexiWynn to the next level. Out of a job since the end of 2009 and just a year left in his MBA program, Seth shifted his focus into expanding their custom purse and handbag business. "We are living the classic American story, the LexiWynn brand is all about vision and hardwork and bootstrapping and learning as you go..."
