About five years ago, my best friend Katy told me about this FABULOUS girl Alexa she had met at a Young Life camp in Minnesota. She told me of how she had made cute purses for some of the girls at the camp. Since then, Katy has NEVER carried anything but a LexiWynn bag. I’ve continued to watch her arsenal grow and have become extremely envious along the way. In the “early days” Katy had Alexa make a few bags for me. I actually still have them! But I never had the opportunity to make my own until I was actually brought on as a design consultant. Not only is it such a fun process, it is also so incredibly addicting. I LOVE that there are so many gorgeous fabrics to choose from, I love the versatility of the designs and the quality of the bags is just so impressive.
I used to be a ‘designer bag girl’ but now, my tastes have changed dramatically because not only are you getting a one of a kind purse but you get to design it yourself… top to bottom. It’s like putting your very own stamp on the one thing you carry around all day, every day. Simply put, I’m hooked! I’m excited to continue to add bags to MY arsenal!
My husband, Joe and I have been married for 8 ½ years, we have two girls, Emma (8) and Molly (5). We love living in the Northwest and are both thrilled to be a part of the young growth of LexiWynn. Watching LexiWynn grow from a distance, for the last 5 years has been fun. Now, I’m thrilled to be a part of the team, bringing LexiWynn to Washington!

I have been doing home parties for various companies now for at least eight years. I have been a rep for two different companies and am currently still with one. Honestly I am never looking for companies to work with, I just seem to stumble upon them and then think "I might like doing this myself." I do not think of myself as a sales person, nor do I like those stereotypical sales people. I just like to talk about things that interest me, and if someone else likes them then even better.
Anyway enough about that, how I found Lexi Wynn is sort of funny. I have a dear friend that was invited to a LexiWynn party and she happened to go on the website prior to attending the party to see what it was about. She says as soon as she looked at the bags and the concept of Lexi Wynn she knew she had to bring me along to the party. So the shopper/socializer that I am said, "Sure, I would love to go and hang with the girls and look at some bags!" I ended up getting to the party before my friend did, and boy was that a mistake (NOT). By the time she arrived I already had the whole scoop on the company. It was instantaneous for me!
As soon as I saw the set up, the bag options, how luscious and fun the fabrics were, and not to mention the pricing (really, it blew me away... I assumed that the more fabrics you added the price would go up. How excited was I to know I could add as many fabric options as possible and still pay the same amount (excluding leathers). I immediately started questioning the sales rep/host about the company and how could someone get started. She answered all my questions and hesitated, "This company is brand new and I am not sure when they will be hiring any new reps." I stopped and thought for a minute. Hmm… "How do I make her understand that I want to be part of this?" OMG! I thought, "Please, please, please talk with who ever and tell them that I am extremely interested and think this is soooo much fun and would love to know more about LexiWynn." She was gracious enough to not think I was a crazy person and delivered the message to Seth and Alexa. It was only a matter of time before I heard from them. It has really been a pleasure every time I speak with them and I look forward to the future we have ahead of us together.
LexiWynn will be really fun and good for me. What I mean by that is, I have moved a lot in the last four years (three times, all either different countries or states). Now, moving is stressful enough, but I also now have FIVE kids and a husband that travels frequently. My children are a blessing, but also a handful (ages 3 months to 8 years)! LexiWynn will give me an outlet and sometime to enjoy other women. I will also get to use some of my creative side when customers ask for help. I really need this in my life and am welcoming it with opened arms.

I was a stranger at a Young Life camp, deep in the mosquitoes of Minnesota about 6 years ago. I went there to shepherd a group of high school kids as they cleaned toilets and changed beds. Little did I know that I would meet one of the most uniquely talented people I have encountered to date, and gain a wonderful sweet friend. That girl is Alexa. She is my friend, and also the talent, the vision and the designer behind LexiWynn.
I came back to California with a few cute bags (of her very early designs), and my friends went wild. Within 9 months, I was begging her for a kit so that my friends could actually design their own bags. At my first “party” I think that 40 bags were designed. And the rest is history. A gal at that first party proclaimed that Alexa’s talent and designs would “go big.” Little did she know she was prophetic! The buzz of LexiWynn has only grown since then, as well as the quality, the look, and the novelty of anything that comes out of Alexa’s workshop.
I am a teacher and a coach in San José, CA, and have been with Alexa and Seth since the very beginning of this venture. I am excited to be part of the beginning stages of what is truly an amazing and innovative business. It is a gift for us to provide an environment for anyone... I mean ANYONE, to venture into their creative side and literally tailor a product that reflects their taste and personality. And the hostess that provides the venue has a super fun excuse to gather a group of friends, family and colleagues. All the guest get to spend a few hours interacting with each other and helping one another with their creative venture. Everyone I have met that attends a LexiWynn purse party, walks away from the experience thankful. Happy Designing!
