Amy Stilling
Libertyville, Illinois
Hi! I am Amy Stilling and I’ve been working for LexiWynn since May 2011. I am the mother of an 8 year old daughter & 5 year old son. My husband and I have been married since 1999 and enjoy living in my hometown community of Libertyville, IL. He is a Dean of Students at Vernon Hills High School and LOVES coaching football in the fall. My life has been filled with wonderful family & friends and I’ve had the honor of living next door to my sister and her family of 5 for the last 11 years. I’ve helped volunteer at my children’s school & extracurricular activities and have always found myself in the business of “sales”.
Last April, on a very sunny warm day, I was hitting the pavement of downtown Libertyville to raise donations for an Annual Fundraiser that I’m active in, Angels for Avery. I had no idea how my life would change when I opened the doors to the storefront, LexiWynn Designs. I was welcomed by Seth Holzwarth (owner and husband of Designer &Owner, Alexa Holzwarth) and I remember walking in circles asking what they did and how they did it. I had NO IDEA that my hometown of Libertyville had a custom design purse company and all I could see was FABRICS, FABRICS and more FABRICS. As I was listening to Seth as to how they got started and how it all works, he asked if I wanted to see their 30 foot workroom where I met Barb & Bernadette, who were their full time sewers. Needless to say, my head was spinning, I was full of excitement and YES, I did get the donation!
Out of all the donations I got that day, this was the only 1 that was MADE IN THE USA. This left a big impression on me and I found myself polling locals, asking if they’d heard of LexiWynn. I don’t know that I interviewed for the position of Design Consultant, but I was immediately selling their products! Within a few days I had met with Alexa and found out how all the “Magic” works. I quickly witnessed through the eyes of our customers that we really do make dreams come true. I say that with confidence. We truly offer custom bags, with fabrics, leathers, laminates and more. We have over 22 standard bags to choose from and those bags can be customized to make the purse or handbag that is perfect for you. From strap length to interior & exterior pockets, the possibilities are endless. I recently designed a wedding clutch for my cousin’s wedding. What a wonderful keepsake from that special day that she can still use in the future.
It was no accident that I met Alexa and Seth Holzwarth, as I believe there are times in life when all the pieces naturally fall into place. That sunny day in April began the next exciting chapter in my life. Seth & Alexa are amazing people, dedicated to their mission and still running the same household as mine. I am encouraged by their integrity, creativity and grateful for the risks that they have taken to offer a truly one-of-a-kind product that is an expression of the designer – YOU!

Years ago, when I was newly married, my husband and I became friends with another newlywed couple. We loved hanging out with them – playing cards, going on trips. We ended up having our children around the same times – so we got to experience parenthood together too. We cheered each other on through the dirty diapers and sleepless nights all the way until now – of course now we discuss baseball teams and cell-phone debates. Along the way – Alexa started a small purse business. I'd always loved her sense of style and eye for design. She helped me pick out fabric, paint colors, and furniture for every house we've owned. Then she started making me my own custom-designed purses. I started ordering them for my mom and sisters as gifts. Everyone who got one loved them.
I talked her into coming to my house with her designs and fabrics a few years ago and my friends came over and designed their own custom purses that Alexa made for them. This year, when I heard they were expanding their business – I knew I wanted to be a part of it. It's so much fun to work for great friends who run their business with such integrity. And, I get to bring the design experience to countless others through at-home parties in my area. Now, I'm seeing LexiWynn bags being carried around town – it's great to be a part of the team.

Ever have one of those moments where everything comes together and makes sense? That happened to me when I attended a LexiWynn party hosted by a friend. I had an incredible time not only designing my own bag, but helping other attendees design theirs. It dawned on me that maybe this is something I should look into. And I am so thankful I did!! As I spoke with Jodi, the Design Consultant at that party, I could feel everything coming together, and she suggested I contact the owners. Thanks Jodi!
When we connected, Seth and Alexa invited me to Libertyville to meet them. In their workroom, I learned about the story behind LexiWynn -- a homegrown business where all the bags are made locally. With attention to detail and customer service being at the top of their priority list, I knew they were the type of people that I would love to work for. Having a background in retail sales and marketing, along with a wealth of experience as a high school business teacher for 8 years, I instantly accepted their offer to become a design consultant.
The flexibility that LexiWynn offers is second to none. I get the opportunity to stay at home with my 2 children while also scheduling and coordinating design parties, where I get to interact with people and build new relationships. My favorite part of the job is helping and seeing people go through the LexiWynn experience. Once they do, they will see firsthand why I love these handbags and they will understand how much I enjoy seeing others fall in love with the bags. Please give me a call or e-mail me if you would like to set up a party or an individual consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!!

I met Alexa in the summer of 2009 at the local elementary school bus stop. She was introduced to me as an amazing designer and seamstress of totes and handbags. I happened to be in the market for a tote bag and scheduled an appointment with Alexa to design a bag in her basement the following week.
The experience of creating my own LexiWynn bag and truly one-of-a-kind tote was amazing! Not only did I get to pick my perfect bag style, I also got to choose the fabric that best represents me. When my LexiWynn Tulip Tote was delivered, I knew how talented Alexa really was. I hosted a party in my home about one month later. I was addicted...for real! After I designed a boatload of bags for myself and a few for my friends, Alexa approached me about becoming a LexiWynn Design Consultant. I was thrilled to accept this amazing opportunity.
I am a stay at home mom of three children and this could not be a more perfect fit. I studied the art of dance for three years at the University of Kansas and graduated from Avila College with a bachelor’s degree in Radiology. I believe that LexiWynn allows me to pursue the creative process that I loved in dance and I enjoy helping others discover their inner design talent as they build their unique LexiWynn bags. I am excited to help you and your friends experience LexiWynn soon!

I discovered LexiWinn when one of my best friends of all time, Jody Kristoper told me she wa s designing purses! She said she was on a mad hunt for the perfect tote and ran into Alexa at the bus stop one morning. Jodi commented on Alexa’s bag and the rest is history! Jodi immediately called me when she got her first bag and I knew I had to have one too! I love purses and creating my own personalized handbag sounded so fun to me!
Jodi made the trip to Kansas City and I hosted a party of my own. I was hooked! I had to be a part of this amazing company. Now I am proud to say that I myself carry LexiWynn bags daily and have a chance to help women in Kansas City design their own bags.
I am a wife, full-time mom and work part-time as a Director of Human Resources. I love all of these jobs, but I have always been on the lookout for that "creative" adventure. LexiWynn is the thing for me! LexiWynn has given me all of the things I want outside of my corporate job: creativity, fun and a way to enjoy and interact and socialize with other women!
I recently made the trip to Libertyville, Illinois to visit the LexiWynn show room. I am so proud to be a part of this new brand. The bags are made by hand with great care and extreme attention to detail. I feel so good to have my name behind something made with such dedication and passion. I never worry about someone getting their bag and being unhappy, I know if it comes out of the LexiWynn work room it will be amazing every time!
